New Aerator Will Protect Langford Lake

The new aerator installed in Langford Lake on Sunday, August 19 is good news for our many residents and visitors who enjoy what this beautiful lake has to offer. The aerator will preserve the lake by adding oxygen to the colder, lower levels, and by reducing harmful algae blooms. I want to thank the provincial government, the Habitat Conservation Trust, Bear Mountain, Westhills and all of the organizations and businesses that recognized the importance of protecting Langford Lake and stepped up to fund the new aerator.
