It was gratifying to see so many people of all ages at Veterans Memorial Park on November 11. It's important to recognize our Veterans not just on Remembrance Day, but throughout the year. We must never forget the sacrifices these brave men and women who gave their lives to defend our country made. The quality of life and freedom we enjoy in Canada today is a result of their efforts. The Prince Edward branch of the Royal Canadian Legion did a terrific job of making the occasion a memorable one, and I want to thank everyone who organized and participated in this event.
