NEW AQUATIC CENTRE ON THE WAY
The ground breaking ceremony on January 20 for the new multi-use aquatic centre marks another important step in Langford Council's commitment to provide the best in recreation. The new centre, made possible through a partnership with the City of Langford, the YMCA/YWCA and Westhills, will include a lap pool, lazy river, warm water therapy pool, wave pool, two water slides, a gymnasium, youth centre, fitness facility and daycare. The project should be completed by the beginning of 2016, and that's great news for the community and people of all ages.
